To cap it all, on every objective analysis the Brexit project to which Gove and Cummings are so recklessly wedded will make the country poorer, inevitably affecting public sector spending and further disadvantaging the worse off. It is Gove and Cummings who have turned out to be the “enemies of promise”. We can’t say we weren’t warned.

His frequently referenced libertarian, ‘anarchic’ proclivities have gifted him a semi-mythic status as an enticing new Whitehall villain.

Dominic Mckenzie Cummings (born 25 November 1971) is a British political strategist who has served as Chief Adviser to Prime Minister Boris Johnson since July 2019.
From 2007 to 2014, he was a Special Adviser to Michael Gove, including while the latter served as Secretary of State for Education, before he was dismissed by Prime Minister David Cameron. From 2015 to 2016, Cummings was Director of the successful Vote Leave campaign, an organisation opposed to continued British membership of the European Union that took an active part in the 2016 referendum campaign for Brexit.

Civil servant's bullying case
In 2012, a senior female civil servant received a payout of £25,000 in a bullying case she took against Cummings and a senior member of Michael Gove’s team, when Cummings was a special adviser at the Department for Education.

If you are familiar with NLP (neuro-linguistic programming), then you’ll know the “not” is an embedded command. For instance, imagine a child, happily running along the top of a wall; his mother calls out ‘don’t fall down’ and the child instantly loses his balance and falls.
If you are a mathematician, you’ll be able to work out just how much money “not” Dominic Cummings is making from this exercise.
Most importantly, if you are a market researcher, you’ll know just how effective this Twitter feed is at testing the ground for any proposed Government edict.
Finally, one wonders if it is Dominic Cummings - or someone very close to him - does the Government know what he is doing? The obvious conclusion is that yes, they must - it’s an open secret. In essence, he is selling Government secrets to those who’ll pay for them.”
